About Us

MRAC is a brisk urban walking, hiking, running, multi-sport and social club based in Midtown Toronto. We cover the four corners of Toronto from the Humber River to Victoria Park and the Lakeshore to Finch. We currently have 3000+ members and are growing at approximately 50 members per week. Our goal is to promote fitness, health and wellness, and to build personal and community relationships. 

​Our events offer members a chance to escape the gym and get outside with other like-minded fitness and health conscious people.

We are more of a cardio group than anything else! MRAC is committed to providing our members with a challenging exercise routine seven days a week. We offer brisk walking/hiking activities across Toronto that utilize ravines, trails and park systems. Our MultiSport options offer members a chance to build agility and sports skills through fun activities that expand their fitness experience. Our Running group is designed for all levels of runners, and our Social group allows people to experience fitness and connecting opportunities in a more relaxed setting. 

At this point in time, our fitness events are free/no charge. In return we politely ask that you join our monthly newsletter, follow us on social media, read all event details, and come prepared.

We tend to do five or more events per week that consist of:

  • Fast paced challenging walk/hikes/runs through Toronto’s park and ravine system

  • Mixed city street and park/ravine system walks/hikes/runs 

  • Walks/hikes/runs ending with a social aspect such as a restaurant or bar

  • Major annual walk/hike/run/sports events

  • Pure social events (no cardio) such as Comedy nights, Gallery nights, Karaoke nights, Museum nights and game/trivia nights etc.

  • Different sports for all levels of experience and skill 

  • Corporate interactive events that focus on team building

We also have specialized events that inspire and target different interests within our group including:

  • Monthly Birthday Celebrations

  • Foodie Venues

  • Other focused themes
